The artist
Giti Norouzian is a multidisciplinary painter working in mixed media and abstraction, and an independent art historian whose research centres on Persian painting. Her work draws on Persian culture and reflects her personal and spiritual life. She holds a Ph.D. in Art Research from the University of Tehran, and her work has been shown in Iran, Turkey, Belarus, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
